May 2023 Release Notes

Aunalytics is excited to announce the May 2023 release to our clients. This release provides you with model and site enhancements along with any fixes to existing functionality.

Small Enhancements

• Competitor Payments: the updated DestinationName Resolution. This update brings improvements to the entity resolution process for the DestinationName field (Transaction_DestinationName), resulting in cleaner extraction of various retail entities. For example, entities like '#100discover', 'amyjonesDiscover', and 'discovercardfees' will now be resolved as 'Discover'.

We have implemented a better categorization mechanism, which efficiently collapses similarly named items into the same category. This means that variations such as 'EdJones', 'E Jones', and 'EdrdJns' will all be recognized as 'Edward Jones'. These enhancements make the downstream use of this field much more user-friendly and intuitive.
